Perched on a hilltop in the heart of Tuscany, Borgo Santolina offers sweeping views across forests, olive groves, and the quiet rhythm of the countryside. This 130 acre estate is your own private resort. Thoughtfully restored for those who want to experience Italy as it truly is: timeless, authentic, and deeply connected to the land. Mornings begin in stillness, days unfold at your pace, and evenings are for gathering, lingering, and savoring the kind of moments that stay with you long after you’ve left.

Your stay is shaped entirely around you. Whether it's hands-on cooking classes, vineyard visits, guided hikes, or long, leisurely lunches beneath the trees, every experience is tailored to your group to be authentic and engaging. From quiet moments to full celebrations, we create a week that feels personal, meaningful, and entirely your own.

Accommodations

Borgo Santolina was made for gathering whether it’s a a family reunion, a group with shared interests, a wedding, or simply time away with the people you love. With 14 ensuite bedrooms (each with a king or split single configuration), the estate sleeps up to 28 guests in comfort and privacy. A café for slow mornings, a tavern for late night laughs, outdoor dining for toasts that matter and in between, an infinity pool and soaking tubs with views that stretch for miles.

We’re currently completing a full renovation ahead of our 2026 launch, reimagining every space to meet a new standard of relaxed luxury while honoring the character of this historic hilltop estate.

Food & Drink

Mornings begin with a beautiful and leisurely breakfast buffet paired your favorite espresso drink. From there, your meals can unfold however you like. We can arrange lunch and dinner with our private chef or send you to our favorite local spots nearby. Celebrate around the pizza oven, linger over a traditional Tuscan BBQ, or enjoy a long, candlelit dinner under the stars.

Our team is always nearby to tend the bar, lead aperitivo hour, host a Negroni tasting, or teach you to mix the perfect cocktail.

A case of local wine from our friends at Podere Arizzi is included and there is an extensive selection of local and regional wine to choose from.

In the heart of Tuscany

Tucked into the hills and wrapped in forest, Borgo Santolina feels a world apart, peaceful, private, and deeply rooted in nature. And yet you're perfectly placed to explore the best of Tuscany. The borgo is just 30 minutes from the medieval city of Siena, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The Chianti and Montalcino wine regions, the Val d’Orcia, and the Tuscan coast are all within easy reach. Spend the day wandering medieval towns, tasting Brunello at its source, or enjoying a long lunch at a hidden trattoria and then return home to the quiet beauty of the hilltop villa for dinner prepared by our private chef.

Arriving

Borgo Santolina is easily accessible while still feeling wonderfully remote. The drive from Florence airport takes about 90 minutes, and private transfers can be arranged upon request.
